I’m late, as usual, for posting this. I was super sore going into it as my ass felt like it would fall off due to the Zuzana workouts I did the day before.
Warm Up: range of motion, foam rolling
Strength:
- 5x3 Power Snatches (first 3 sets at 75#, then 80#)
- 3x3 Push Jerks (110# for all)
- 2x5, 2x3, 3x1 Overhead Squats
Okay, so with the OH Squats, I got up to 110# no problem, but then couldn’t get 115# off my shoulders and overhead to progress. I was so pissed. I also slightly bruised up my lower neck in the attempts and realized I needed to stop. Boo.
WOD:
21-15-9
- Burpees
- Pull Ups
Time = 5:17 Rx’d
This was a ‘quick and dirty’ WOD that I actually enjoyed, despite it kicking my ass in terms of breathing. I’ve been working on doing more butterfly pulls in WODs, too, so this was good practice.
OH MY GOD. I found a giant-ass grocery store near CrossFit that I don’t know existed and I’m in love.
There’s bison, grass fed meats and even creamer, paleo snacks, every flavor of almond milk ice cream. I’m in love.
One day this is going to happen to me, and I am terrified…
